GIVAUDAN, a leading European industry in fragrances, asked STRATE's Immersive Design students to create an immersive virtual experience that would introduce its customers to the spirit of its company as to understand the potential of the new 3D technologies. Our class of eight grouped together to achieve this project in a month, with only two weeks to create the experience.

The user starts in one of GIVAUDAN's laboratory where he can pick up one of the perfumes it created. Then, he's transported to different parts of the world where the raw sources of the different fragrances that make the perfume are cultivated. He has to shrink to the size of an insect in order harvest the fragrances on the plants while taking care of them. Once he filled up its bottle he finally goes back to the laboratory where he has to mix the correct fragrances in order to reproduce the perfumes.

Two magical universes were created around Lavender and Vetiver for the purpose of the concept.
